REMOVE SHORTCUT VIRUS
HI FRIENDS...
Just follow the below steps …..
Click on "Start" -->Run --> type cmd and click on OK.
Insert pen drive into computer and find drive letter of connected USB drive
For Example, E:
Now click on Start --> Run
In Run box, type cmd and hit Enter
And now in command prompt type attrib -r -a -s -h /s /d (Drive letter):\*.*
Now hit Enter and wait for sometime. That's all, you have done !!! Now you can view all your files
in pen drive without any problems. And you can now delete those files and format it cleanly
using CMD to remove viruses.
Or watch this video for better understanding. Either of ways are correct. But in the above method,
we first navigate to the virus affected drive and later we unhide those shortcut files. But in the
video, the user has entered a single command that deletes the shortcut files from the virus
affected drive. Either ways will work...
